First ever KAPOW! COMIC CONVENTION in London

For the 9th and 10th of April, London's Business Design Centre in Islington will be re-animated with gamma ray bursts, immaculate wall crawls, super healing, time travel rescue missions, electromagnetic forcefields and even supreme sorcery.

For fans of the vast comic pantheons, "an event dedicated to the comicbooks and the films, TV shows and games they inspire" promises much:

Attractions include:

the first of what will be annually coveted Stan Lee Awards include categories such as "best comic," and "best sci-fi/super-hero film" amogst others; panels with creators of Spiderman and 2000AD, and special advance screenings.

There's even a chance for budding future comic stalwarts to have their portfolios reviewed (but make sure you register online)
