Harmonic 313 + Kode9 + Dorian Concept + King Midas Sound. SOUNDCRASH @ KOKO preview & competition

Chuck D with voice like granite said: "Bass. How low can you go?" We're going to find out this Saturday at KOKO where Soundcrash bring the beautiful noise once again via their residency.

Harmonic 313 aka Mark Pritchard. "His latest project sees him join forces with Steve Spacek to form Africa Hitech. Their soon to be released album ‘93 Million Miles’ on Warp Records is already gaining huge critical acclaim with its explosive fusion of juke, dancehall, dubstep and anything with a BIG bassline." My goodness.

Kode9 is the terra-watt force behind Hyperdub records (Burial, Zomby, Ikonika). This guy has written a book on flipping sonic warfare. That's pretty much about how soundwaves can be weaponised to kill or at least seriously hurt you. Saturday is going to be immense.

Next see a member of Flying Lotus' band and new recruit of Ninja Tune, Dorian Gray "using his amazing Mini Korg skills to create his unique fusion of jazz, electronica and club music which always wow the devoted crowds." The bar remains higher and higher.

The emotional future funk resonance will be courtesy of three piece band King Midas Touch for an incandescent exhibition of honest music expression.

And just in case there were any doubts regarding future sound-bombs, Alex Nut (co-founder of Eglo records) will bring even more noise for your poise. Wonderful.

Easy.
